The Norwalk Junior Soccer Association (NJSA) Recreation League is a community-centered soccer program designed for children from Pre-K through 8th grade. Our goal is to provide a fun, educational, and development-focused environment where every player can learn the game and develop valuable life skills. While competition is a natural part of sports, our primary focus is on enjoyment, skill-building, and teamwork.
NJSA’s Recreation League offers Fall (Sept – Nov) and Spring (April – June) sessions, with age-specific divisions tailored to meet the needs of young athletes at every level:
- Little Kickers (Ages 2-4) – A parent-child program using fun activities to introduce soccer fundamentals.
- MLS Division (Ages 5-6) – Small-sided games and structured practices led by licensed trainers.
- Italian Division (Ages 7-8) – Development-focused games with professional coaching and certified referees.
- English Premier League (EPL) Division (Ages 9-11) – Competitive, team-based play with 7v7 or 9v9 formats.
- Rec Plus (Ages 12-14) – Advanced play in a travel-friendly league across Fairfield County.
Each season includes weekly practices, weekend games, and professional coaching, creating a well-rounded soccer experience for all skill levels. Parents are encouraged to get involved as team managers and volunteers to support the NJSA community.
