Spring 2026 Referee Interest
Would your son or daughter be interested in learning more about the game while also gaining the opportunity to become a referee?
Referee training is offered once per year in March. The program includes a classroom session followed by a field session once the Recreation season begins. There is no cost to participate in the referee training.
The exact date and time will be announced shortly. In the meantime, please complete the required information using THIS LINK. This will also collect your email so you can be notified when the course is scheduled.
The Norwalk Junior Soccer Association through USSF, CJSA, and the Connecticut State Referee Program offers two levels of referee certification as well as referee mentoring, referee clinics, and referee assessment. NJSA referees are given paid assignments to NJSA recreational and travel games, and advancement to out-of-town and out-of-state venues.
